The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a critical role in driving specifications, ensuring technical excellence, supporting partner development, and promoting Kidde Commercial and Edwards solutions across the assigned region.\nKey Responsibilities\nPre-Sales & Technical Solution Support\nPrepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for fire and life safety systems.\nPerform value engineering assessments and optimization of system designs.\nSupport preparation of technical compliance statements and tender documentation.\nEvaluate and recommend project upgrade and migration strategies.\nReview and verify high-level system architecture and solution designs.\nProvide technical support during project engineering and design phases.\nAssist sales teams with solution presentations, technical clarifications, and customer engagements.\nSupport business development activities by providing technical expertise for lead generation and opportunity qualification.\nConsultant & Business Development Engagement\nConduct consultant workshops for product approvals and brand acceptance.\nDeliver technical workshops and presentations to consulting firms.\nSupport specification development and consultant engagement activities.\nConduct business development presentations for consultants and end users.\nPromote Edwards and Kidde product portfolios to increase market awareness and specification adoption.\nPartner Development & Training\nSupport onboarding and technical enablement of new Value-Added Resellers (VARs).\nDeliver product refresh and new-product training sessions to existing partners.\nConduct certified and non-certified technical training programs.\nProvide design, engineering, and pre-sales training to business partners.\nDevelop and deliver internal technical training programs for sales and engineering teams.\nExecute the Edwards and Kidde Master Training Plan, including certification, refresh, and competency development programs.\nSite & Technical Support\nConduct site visits to provide technical assistance and solution guidance.\nTroubleshoot programming-related issues and provide resolution recommendations.\nSupport installation reviews and provide guidance on best practices.\nAssist with the evaluation of product performance, quality concerns, and field issues.\nSupport product recall, upgrade, and migration programs when required.\nPrepare technical letters, certifications, and project-related technical documentation.\nMarketing & Events Support\nProvide technical support for exhibitions, seminars, roadshows, and industry events.\nDeliver product awareness presentations for customers, consultants, and end users.\nRepresent the company during technical events and customer engagements. \nQualifications\nSaudi National\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience\nEntry level.
