This role will be essential to supporting sales growth across the MENA region. In addition, the successful candidate will provide post-sales technical and product support, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions.\nRole\nThe Pre-Sales Engineer will support the growth of Kidde Global Solutions (KGS) products and services across the assigned geographical region. The role will focus on providing technical expertise throughout the sales process, developing customer-focused solutions, and supporting Business Development and commercial teams.\nKey responsibilities:\nWork closely with the MENA Business Development team to recommend, design and quote KGS Commercial Fire solutions that meet business and customer requirements.\nParticipate in customer visits and online technical discussions, where required, to help resolve specific technical issues and support the specification of KGS Commercial Fire products and solutions.\nLiaise closely with Business Development, Sales and Product Management teams to develop region-specific solutions.\nProvide regular feedback on customer technical requirements, feedback and complaints, as well as information on competitive products.\nAdvise the commercial team on the benefits and technical advantages of KGS products, provide competitive comparisons and recommend cost-effective solutions.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of technical product documentation, test reports, approvals, certifications and other relevant materials.\nConduct technical customer training, where required, in collaboration with the Commercial and Business Development teams.\nDeliver product overviews and pre-sales presentations to customers and consultants.\nProvide and coordinate after-sales technical support for Business Partners and end users.\nProvide online and telephone technical support to customers, partners and internal teams.\nJob Requirements\nMinimum 5 years of technical experience in the Fire & Life Safety industry, with experience working with EN and UL standards.\nProven technical and design skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and projects across a wide range of product applications.\nGood understanding of fire detection systems, products and applications.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and assess customer requirements.\nProficiency in common business and engineering applications.\nGood knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.\nPerson Specification\nDynamic, results-driven and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.\nHigh degree of personal and business integrity and ethics.\nStrong interpersonal skills, with a resourceful and
