We provide relocation support to help make the transition as smooth as possible.\nContract Type: Full Time\nRole: Quality Assurance Team Lead - Sensors\nDepartment: R&D / Engineering\nWe are looking for a hands-on QA Team Leader to lead a team responsible for verification and validation of security sensors and peripheral devices within our R&D organization.\nThis role combines technical leadership with active participation in testing activities. You will lead a team responsible for validating new product developments and supporting sustaining activities for existing sensor portfolios. The scope includes addressable sensors, wireless communication devices, motion detectors, door/window contacts, seismic sensors, signal repeaters, and other security system accessories.\nYou will work closely with hardware, embedded software, system engineering, product management, and certification teams to ensure products meet quality expectations and regulatory requirements for European markets.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate a team of 4-5 QA engineers\nDefine validation and verification strategies for new product developments\nCoach and mentor team members in testing methodologies and quality practices\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, and development of QA engineers\nDrive continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and efficiency\nOversee verification and validation activities for security sensors and peripherals\nReview and approve test plans, test reports, and quality deliverables\nValidate functional behavior of wired and wireless security sensors\nVerify product operation under normal, fault, recovery, environmental, and long-term reliability conditions\nSupport sustaining engineering activities for legacy sensor portfolios\nDrive root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions\nWork closely with hardware, firmware, system, and product teams\nProvide clear quality status, reporting, and release recommendations\nContribute to product quality strategy within the R&D organization\n\nRequired Profile\nMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field\n5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Verification & Validation, Testing, or Product Quality\nExperience testing hardware, embedded, electromechanical, or RF-based products\nStrong understanding of structured test methodologies and quality processes\nExperience translating requirements into verification and validation activities\nPractical hands-on experience in laboratory testing environments\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to coordinate technical activities across multiple stakeholders\nExcellent communication and documentation skills\nGood command of English, both written and spoken\n\nAdditional Qualifications\nPrevious experience leading engineers, project teams, or technical initiatives\nExperience with security, intrusion detection, fire, access control, or related industries\nKnowledge of wireless communication technologies and RF testing\nExperience with EN 50131 or comparable certification frameworks\nTest automation experience using Python or LabView\nExperience with Atlassian toolchain (Jira, Confluence)\nFamiliarity with reliability, environmental, and compliance testing\n\nWe Offer\nStable employment in a mature engineering environment\nOpportunities for career growth and professional development\nA culture that encourages independence, creativity, and continuous learning\nCompetitive salary and benefits package: \nMeal Vouchers\nLuxMed Medical Insurance\nMultiSport Card\nIKE/IKZE Additional Pension Contribution\nIndividuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance.
