The candidate will be responsible for architecture, development, debugging, testing, and maintenance of embedded firmware for advanced electronic products. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers, real-time embedded software development, hardware/software integration, and product validation.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based products \nDevelop efficient, reliable, and optimized firmware using C/C++ programming languages\nWork closely with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and debug hardware/firmware issues.\nDevelop firmware architecture, drivers, middleware, and application layers\nPerform microcontroller peripheral configuration including:\nGPIO \nADC/DAC \nPWM \nTimers \nInterrupts \nUART \nSPI \nI²C \nCAN communication\nDevelop and debug real-time embedded applications\nAnalyze system requirements and translate them into firmware design specifications\nPerform firmware debugging using:\nOscilloscope \nLogic analyzer \nJTAG/SWD debugger \nIn-circuit emulator\nOptimize firmware for: \nMemory usage \nCPU performance \nPower consumption \nTiming requirements\nParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, and firmware verification activities\nCreate and maintain firmware documentation including design documents, test plans, and release notes.\nSupport production issues, failure analysis, and root cause investigations\nWork with cross-functional teams including hardware, manufacturing, quality, and system engineering teams\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field\n5+ years’ experience in embedded firmware development\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong expertise in embedded C programming and low-level firmware development\nExtensive experience programming microcontrollers:\n8-bit MCU \n16-bit MCU \n32-bit ARM Cortex-M MCU\nExperience with microcontroller families such as:\nRenesas Electronics RL78 / RX / RA series \nSTMicroelectronics STM32 \nMicrochip Technology PIC / AVR \nTexas Instruments MSP430 / Tiva / C2000\nStrong knowledge of:\nInterrupt-driven firmware \nState machine design \nBootloader development \nFlash / EEPROM memory management \nFirmware upgrade mechanisms\nEmbedded communication protocols\nExperience with embedded development tools:\nIAR Embedded Workbench \nKeil MDK \nGCC toolchain \nRenesas e² studio / CS+\nExperience with:\nRTOS (FreeRTOS or similar)\nDevice drivers \nHardware abstraction layers (HAL)\nSafety-critical firmware development \nExperience with version control systems: \nSVN\nGit \nExperience with
