Good knowledge of Hardware Simulators.\nHaving knowledge on Test Frameworks at embedded systems. Integration test knowledge with debugging tools like JTAG and emulators\nGood at manual and automated test execution in embedded and software systems. Good understanding of SDLC, defect life cycle\nExperience in understanding requirements traceability matrix & and validate system interface at design and consumer level\nExperience in automation testing and hands-on in developing automation framework\nGood Working knowledge of Test Management Tools Ex. HPALM/IBM/Jira\nCreate Manual test cases/automation test scripts, Document and Execute the test cases that conform to the technical and functional specifications for firmware and Software applications\nDocument and present test results as per the QA policies and procedures\nContributes ideas on product and process improvements. Participates in design review sessions\nImplement appropriate automation technologies to meet the short- and long-term goals of the company including test frameworks\nAdhere to the Automation Framework for Fire domain products and enhancements\n\nEDUCATION PREFERRED:\nBE/ME or B.Tech./M.Tech. in Electronics/Communication/Electrical Engineering / Computer Science\n\nEXPERIENCE PREFERRED:\nMinimum 12 to 15 years of embedded products quality assurance experience required as below:\nEssential Competencies:\nInvolved in all phases of product development life cycle, including requirements gathering, backlog grooming, risk analysis, planning, scheduling, test strategy, test environment, test execution, defect management, test reporting, deployment support and production issue analysis support.\nExperience in Embedded Software Quality Assurance (SQA).\nExperience in Verification, Integration, System Testing from End to End.\nExperience in testing different communication protocols such as, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, BACnet, Modbus. UART & CAN etc.\nCross-platform embedded QA experience with Microcontrollers and tool chains.\nUnderstanding of functional and non-functional requirements.\nExperience utilizing Agile Software Process Techniques\nRelentless root cause/troubleshooting experience.\nDesirable Competencies:\nExperience in embedded software quality assurance for Fire applications/complex embedded systems from concept through to production.\nWorking knowledge on IBM Rational Tool chain, DNG, RTC, RQM or HPQC or Jira\nKnowledge of Hardware related testing.
