The role requires strong experience in Embedded C/C++, 16/32-bit microcontrollers, Embedded Linux, IoT Azure connectivity, cybersecurity, system troubleshooting, and product development lifecycle management.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Design, develop, review, and maintain embedded firmware for Fire Detection and Alarm products.\n\n- Analyze system requirements and translate them into firmware architecture, design, and implementation.\n\n- Perform coding using Embedded C and C++ and execute unit, integration, and system testing.\n\n- Work on Embedded Linux including system programming, kernel, device drivers, and U-Boot.\n\n- Develop secure IoT-enabled solutions with Azure cloud connectivity.\n\n- Lead firmware troubleshooting, debugging, root cause analysis, DFMEA, and RRCA activities.\n\n- Collaborate with hardware, software, and global engineering teams across multiple time zones.\n\n- Drive cybersecurity compliance initiatives across product portfolios.\n\n- Maintain technical documentation, code reviews, and software quality standards.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications :\n\n- Strong Embedded C and C++ software development experience.\n\n- Hands-on expertise with 16/32-bit microcontrollers and bare-metal programming.\n\n- Experience with I2C, SPI, RS485, Modbus and BACnet protocols.\n\n- Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux (System Programming, Kernel, Device Drivers, U-Boot).\n\n- Azure IoT Cloud connectivity experience.\n\n- Debugging with emulators, JTAG/BDM debuggers and static code analysis tools.\n\n- Git/SVN version control and defect tracking tools.\n\n- Schematic interpretation and complex embedded system design knowledge.\n\n- Experience with DFMEA, RRCA and cybersecurity practices.\n\nPreferred Skills :\n\n- Google Test/CPP
