You'll work in a small, agile team of 3-4 engineers, building intuitive, performant, AI-enhanced interfaces in close partnership with product, design, and data. This role suits an AI-native engineer who uses AI tools daily to accelerate development and thoughtfully integrate AI into user-facing products, and who thrives in ambiguity and complex technical challenges.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\nBuild end-to-end solutions from React/TypeScript frontends to GoLang and Python backend services (being highly experienced in one of these can be sufficient)\n\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize AI/LLM-powered features that personalize learning at scale\n\nRapidly prototype new AI-driven capabilities and iterate based on user feedback and data\n\nWork with large datasets to analyze model performance, identify issues, and guide improvements\n\nTurn complex product concepts into robust, reliable AI-enhanced user experiences\n\nCollaborate closely with product, design, data science, and ML engineering partners\n\nContribute to architectural decisions, tooling enhancements, and best practices across the stack\n\nLeverage AI tools to improve engineering velocity, code quality, and experimentation workflows\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n5-7+ years of professional software development experience\n\nA full-stack mindset with willingness to work across frontend, backend, AI integration layers, and supporting infrastructure\n\nStrong ability to reason about AI system behavior, model limitations, and best practices for safe, reliable integration\n\nExperience working with data pipelines, experiment evaluation, or model performance analysis\n\nA collaborative, product-minded engineer who enjoys working directly with design and PM partners\n\nSomeone who embraces fast iteration, incomplete information, and continuous learning\n\nAn AI-native engineer who knows how to select, use, and apply AI tools effectively in both development and product experiences\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or equivalent work experience\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience integrating LLMs or ML systems into production applicationsFamiliarity with vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation\n\nCI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or similar)\n\nFamiliarity with the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, ECS, RDS, k8s, containerized applications)\n\nWhat we offer\nFull time permanent employees are eligible for the following benefits from their first day of employment:\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nMeaningful equity\n\nHealth insurance benefits: medical (various PPO/HMO/HSA plans), dental, vision, disability and life insurance\n\n401k plan\n\nOne Medical membership (in participating locations)\n\nFlexible vacation time policy (subject to internal approval).
