We're looking for someone with an ownership mentality that is looking to build a successful business and be additive to our performance culture.\nYou will...\nOwn and quarterback multiple searches, from establishing position requirements up to building and managing a pipeline of active and passive talent\n\nProactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies\n\nPossess a strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, and complex internet searches and research (ex: Boolean searches on various platforms)\n\nInteract with candidates on social platforms and craft outreach recruiting emails/messages\n\nSource active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals\n\nAct as a search expert for a functional area(s) by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements\n\nEnable and partner with internal stakeholders to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process\n\nContribute to recruiting process, documentation, and trainings.\n\nDevelop talent pipelines for future ongoing hiring needs\n\nMeasure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired\n\nWhat we look for\nProven progressive work experience as a Business or Technical Recruiter role (5+ yrs)\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to take initiative (driver mindset) and build strong productive relationships (partnership skills)\n\nStrong experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)\n\nTech savvy, with a good understanding of technical terminology and deep knowledge about saas technology industry in general, more specifically, the ability to quickly study and retain relevant information on the edtech industry, competitors, current events, etc.\n\nFamiliarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)\n\nAbility to generate a high volume / high quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines\n\nFlexibility and willingness to support multiple functions / business units\n\nQuick learner and ability to think fast, capable of understanding many different topics quickly\n\nIndependent and self-motivated, able to perform consistent work without constant supervision\n\nHigh levels of collegiality with an above average ability to influence leaders\n\nWilling to handle coordination tasks like scheduling and travel coordination\n\n$130,000 - $180,000 a year\nWhat we offer\nFull time permanent employees are eligible for the following benefits from their first day of employment:\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nMeaningful equity\n\nHealth insurance benefits: medical (various PPO/HMO/HSA plans), dental, vision, disability and life insurance\n\n401k plan\n\nOne Medical membership (in participating locations)\n\nFlexible vacation time policy (subject to internal approval).
