Founded in 2014, KIEFER has delivered 600MW+ of energy projects and is now developing sovereign AI infrastructure, enterprise AI products and physical AI systems for Greece and Southeast Europe.\nAs our project portfolio continues to expand, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Athens and play an active role in supporting the timely and cost-effective execution of our projects across Greece.\nThe Role\nThis is a hands-on procurement position requiring strong organizational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple purchasing requirements in a dynamic, project-driven environment.\nThe successful candidate will take ownership of assigned procurement activities, working closely with technical teams, project management, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time, within budget, and according to project specifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the end-to-end procurement process, from purchase requisitions and supplier sourcing to purchase order issuance and delivery follow-up.\n\nIdentify, evaluate, and develop reliable relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.\n\nRequest, analyze, and compare commercial offers, considering technical specifications, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.\n\nNegotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions.\n\nCoordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Managers, Warehouse, and Finance teams to understand and prioritize project requirements.\n\nMonitor outstanding purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules, proactively resolving delays and supply issues.\n\nSupport procurement planning and cost optimization across multiple concurrent projects.\n\nMaintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, supplier information, and ERP data.\n\nMonitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.\n\nEnsure compliance with internal purchasing procedures, approval workflows, and contractual requirements.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.\n\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within construction, engineering, energy, industrial, or other project-based environments.\n\nDemonstrated experience in supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order management.\n\nGood understanding of procurement workflows, purchasing documentation, and supplier coordination.\n\nProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.\n\nExcellent command of Greek and good working knowledge of English.\n\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to manage competing priorities, work independently, and meet demanding project deadlines.\n\nWhat Will Make You Stand Out\nPrevious procurement experience in EPC, Renewable Energy, BESS, electrical equipment, or construction projects.\n\nFamiliarity with technical materials, equipment procurement, and construction-site requirements.\n\nExperience coordinating procurement activities across multiple project locations.\n\nProven ability to resolve supplier issues, negotiate effectively, and anticipate delivery risks.\n\nA proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented approach, with strong attention to detail.\n\nWhat We Offer\nA stable, full-time position within a growing engineering and energy organization.\n\nExposure to major Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, Infrastructure, and Data Center projects.\n\nOpportunities for professional development and career progression.\n\nA collaborative working environment with direct interaction across technical and operational teams.\n\nCompetitive remuneration package, aligned with qualifications and experience.\n\nApply Now\nIf you are a procurement professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving operational challenges, and contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects, we would like to hear from you.\nJoin KIEFER TEK and help deliver the infrastructure powering tomorrow.\nDiversity & Inclusion\nKIEFER TEK Ltd is an equal opportunity employer.
