Senior Sales Executive — Energy Storage (BESS)

KIEFER TEK is expanding its EPC capabilities in energy storage and is looking for a senior commercial leader to drive the growth of its BESS business

You will originate and close utility-scale BESS EPC contracts with developers, IPPs, funds and industrial off-takers, running deals end to end from first meeting to signature alongside Engineering, Procurement and PMO, and shaping the pricing and contracting approach for a newly prioritised portfolio. You will also lead the differentiation argument that increasingly decides these deals - how energy management, analytics and AI-assisted dispatch optimisation improve availability, revenue stacking and levelised cost of storage.

What you'll do

• Map the Greek and regional storage landscape and build a structured, prioritised pipeline
• Run opportunities end to end - qualification, technical scoping, proposal build-up, negotiation, and handover to PMO after signature
• Shape pricing architecture and contracting models (turnkey EPC, EPC wrap, Balance of Plant, EPC + long-term service agreements) with Engineering, Procurement and Finance
• Translate CAPEX, EPC scope, round-trip efficiency, degradation/augmentation and availability guarantees into commercial narratives that hold up to investor and lender scrutiny
• Lead the digital and AI value conversation - forecasting, dispatch optimisation, state-of-health analytics - and its effect on revenue stacking and levelised cost of storage
• Track tender schedules, capacity mechanisms, grid connection terms and competitor positioning
• Maintain CRM discipline and produce reliable weighted-pipeline forecasts
• Represent KIEFER TEK at industry conferences, tenders and investor events

What we're looking for

• 5-7+ years in Sales or Business Development within Energy, EPC or Renewables, with a track record of closing complex, long-cycle B2B contracts
• Direct exposure to utility-scale BESS strongly preferred; adjacent experience in Solar PV, Wind, substations or grid connection works valued
• Working command of BESS commercial fundamentals - revenue stacking, augmentation, EPC vs. BoP scope splits, availability guarantees, levelised cost of storage
• Genuine literacy in AI and digital optimisation of energy assets, and the ability to apply AI tools to your own commercial work
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Business Administration or related field (Master's a plus)
• Fluency in Greek and English
• Valid Category B driving licence and readiness to travel 30-40%, primarily in Greece with regular travel across SE Europe
