Kiewit Mexico offers construction management and engineering services in a variety of markets, including energy, oil, gas, chemicals, terminals, marine works, and mining.\nResponsibilities\n Design and plan drainage systems for various projects.\n Conduct research and analysis of drainage systems to optimize performance.\n Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate drainage systems into project designs.\n Ensure quality and safety standards are met for drainage construction.\n Develop project schedules and budgets for drainage systems.\n Participate in project meetings to report progress and provide technical support.\n Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors.\n Independently evaluates, selects, and applies engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for continuous and single-event rainfall modeling. \n Analysis of basins, hydrographs, development and routing of maximum discharges.\n Requirements\n5-10 years of experience in drainage engineering.\n Software expertise includes: HEC-HMS and SWMM.\n Understanding of FHWA hydraulic engineering design series and technical reports. \nStormwater quantity/quality calculations, LID, NPDES compliance and erosion control \nSoftware expertise includes: HEC-RAS, HY-8, CulvertMaster, StormCAD, CivilStorm, PondPack, FlowMaster, useful 2D expertise such as SRH-2D, FLO-2D \n Development of drainage plans, profiles, specifications and estimates for transportation projects and hydraulic resources.
