The position is a member of the Finance team and collaborates across departments to ensure accurate financial operations, enhance internal controls, and contribute to the organization’s overall fiscal health.\nEssential Functions\nManages cash handling process including counting daily cash bags, reconciling cash receipts, training front line staff, and month end variance analysis.\nManages and maintains financial transactions within Quickbooks or related account systems and ensures approval, payment terms, and accurate GL coding.\nMonitors and reports restricted funds to meet grant requirements.\nManages AR including sending invoices, payment terms, and follow ups for all AR needs including Field Trips, Rental Clients, miscellaneous items.\nReconciles bank accounts and related systems including AP, AR, and Credit Cards.\nOversees Ramp, credit card and ACH processing software.\nAssists in month/quarter end processes to ensure an accurate and GAAP compliant\nCoordinates with development team on contributed revenue entries for GAAP compliance\nAssists HR in benefit administration, onboarding, offboarding, and additional HR functions as needed.\nAssists in store purchase ordering processing and bi-annual inventory.\nAssists in annual financial audits. \nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation & Experience Required\nBA/BS degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum 3-5 years of experience including cash handling, journal entries, and basic accounting knowledge.\nMicrosoft Excel or Google Sheets experience\nExperience in Quickbooks, Salesforce, Ramp, Paylocity a plus\nSkills Necessary\nCross-cultural fluency and ability to work with diverse groups of people \nExperience with project teams and coordination\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with outstanding service orientation\nExcellent organizational skills with close attention to detail and ability to problem-solve\nWork Characteristics\nA strong work ethic and the ability to be a motivated, enthusiastic team player. \nEnthusiasm and passion for the mission of the Kiewit Luminarium and a desire to share it. \n Working Conditions/Physical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
