As one of North America’s largest independent manufacturers of consumer products, KIK helps a large portfolio of brands and retailers bring their products to life.\nYour Role at KIK\nJoin our team as a 1st shift Machine Operator (Monday-Friday with OT as needed 5:00am-3:30pm), where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant.Bring your expertise to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nOperate various high speed liquid filling machinery including but not limited to fillers, labelers, cappers, palletizers, depalletizes case erectors, and heat induction sealers case erectors, etc.\nExamine and act on production orders to determine quantities to be manufactured, job specifications and or special instructions.\nMaintain time and production records.\nMaintain quality standards.\nConduct basic troubleshooting on the assigned equipment and perform minor equipment adjustments and changeovers.\nFollow Safety /GMP guidelines.\nComply with PPE, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.\n1-2 years’ experience as a Machine operator in the packaging industry.\nProduction knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing preferred. \nMust be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.\nBasic mathematics skills required.\nMust be able to take direction and work unsupervised.\nWhat You’ll Bring\n1-2 years’ experience as a Machine operator in the packaging industry.\nProduction knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing preferred. \nMust be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.\nBasic mathematics skills required.\nMust be able to take direction and work unsupervised.\nWhat You Will Get\nKIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. This position has a base salary range of $20.60/hr.
