As one of North America’s largest independent manufacturers of consumer products, KIK helps a large portfolio of brands and retailers bring their products to life.\nYour Role at KIK\nJoin our team as a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor (Monday - Friday with OT as needed 4:00pm - 2:30am), where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and monitoring equipment, conducting repairs and replacements. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDirects the maintenance work force and provides on-site expertise.\nEnsures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.\nReviews work planning and scheduling with the production planner.\nEnsures quality of work adhering to all safety standards.\nEnsure that equipment availability is adequate to meet the production plan.\nWorks with plant or production supervision to ensure any operator's performed maintenance duties are facilitated.\nWorks with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all maintenance craft employees are properly qualified and trained for all maintenance work assigned.\nEnforce environmental regulations.\nFocuses downward and is highly visible in the field.\nChampions proactive maintenance vs. reactive maintenance.\nAdministers encouragement and discipline to direct employees.\nMonitors the CMMS.\nImplements preventive and predictive maintenance programs.\nWorks with procurement and external vendors for the purchase of supplies, parts, and obtaining competitive bids for equipment.\nMonitors shop qualifications and quality standards for outside contractors.\nDevelops standards for major maintenance overhauls and outages.\nManage the maintenance team's maintenance budget.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred\n3 or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment\n2 or more years of people leadership or supervisory experience\nPrevious hands-on experience with assembly line machinery including PLC programming\n Excellent reading, writing and math skills.\n Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n Excellent organizational and mechanical skills. This position has a base salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus or commission target.
