As one of North America’s largest independent manufacturers of consumer products, KIK helps a large portfolio of brands and retailers bring their products to life.\nYour Role at KIK\nThe Packer 1 - 1st Shift (5:00 am - 1:30 pm - Monday - Friday with some weekends per business need) supports daily operations by packaging finished product accurately and to specification at the end of the production line. This position operates in a chemical manufacturing environment and requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hazardous material handling procedures, and company safety policies. No prior manufacturing experience is required - training is provided.\nThis position has a base starting hourly rate of $22.00 per hour. Shift differentials apply in addition to the base rate: $0.50 per hour for second shift and $1.00 per hour for third shift. Packers are trained up to the Packer 2 level within six months, which carries a base rate of 23.00 per hour.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPackage pool chemical products into containers, pails, buckets, bags, cartons, and other approved packaging materials\nInspect products and packaging components for quality, accuracy, and defects before and during packaging operations\nApply labels, lot codes, date codes, and regulatory markings according to product specifications\nVerify correct product, packaging materials, and quantities are used for each production run\nOperate packaging equipment, conveyors, palletizers, shrink-wrap machines, labelers, and related equipment as trained\nMonitor packaging lines for proper operation and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance personnel\nStack, wrap, and prepare finished goods for warehouse storage or shipment\nComplete production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately and in a timely manner\nPerform line clearances and housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and organized work area\nFollow all safety procedures regarding hazardous chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout, and emergency response\nParticipate in inventory counts and material reconciliation activities as assigned.\nAssist with changeovers, setup, and cleaning of packaging equipment\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency\nPerforms other duties and assignments as directed by supervisor\nAssist other Dry B Operators as needed\nWhat You’ll Bring\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n\nNo minimum years of experience required.
