As one of North America’s largest independent manufacturers of consumer products, KIK helps a large portfolio of brands and retailers bring their products to life.\nYour Role at KIK\nWe're looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our 1st Shift Monday - Friday with weekends as needed (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) warehouse operations at our Chicago, IL manufacturing facility. In this role, you will oversee daily activities ensuring products move safely, efficiently, and accurately through our operation.\nYou will lead a team of warehouse associates and forklift operators while partnering closely with Production, Maintenance, Planning, and the Filling Supervisor to keep operations running smoothly. This role requires strong communication and coordination throughout the shift to ensure production is supported, operational issues are addressed promptly, and a thorough end-of-shift handoff is provided. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including your relevant skills and experience.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLead daily warehouse operations while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment\nSupervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals\nAssign daily work, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback to support employee success\nCoordinate closely with the Filling Supervisor throughout the shift to ensure production lines and operational priorities are aligned and issues are addressed proactively; provide a comprehensive end-of-shift email summarizing shift performance, key activities, and outstanding items requiring follow-up\nCoordinate closely with the production plant shipping department to ensure materials are delivered on time to support production needs\nManage FIFO strategy of finished goods to ensure product is turning in a timely fashion to prevent expired inventory\nUnderstand the role as the last step before the customer to ensure good quality product is shipping out the door, driving accountability from associates and plant manufacturing when standards are not met\nReview staged finished goods for accuracy against pick tickets, identify issues, and provide coaching where discrepancies exist\nSafely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed to load, unload, store, and move materials throughout the warehouse using established procedures\nUtilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS), RFID technology, and JD Edwards (JDE) to manage inventory and create/receive transfer orders\nReceive inbound POs in JD Edwards (JDE) and support month-end reconciliation efforts\nMaintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control processes\nPerform quality checks, documentation, and packaging activities as needed\nComplete End-of-Shift (EOS) reports, proactively communicating operational issues and shift performance\nEnsure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and all safety regulations\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency, quality, and customer service\nWhat You’ll Bring\nHigh School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred\n4 or more years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role\nManufacturing or CPG warehouse environment preferred\n2 or more years of experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment\nExperience operating forklifts and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment\nStrong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills\nExperience with warehouse inventory systems; experience with JDE and RFID technology is a plus\nIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities\nAbility to lift 20-60 pounds frequently and safely climb stairs and ladders\nA commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation\nWhat You Will Get\nKIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
