You will translate complex blueprints and specifications into highly accurate, competitive bids. Working closely with Market Directors and General Contractors, you will clarify project scopes and ensure our field teams are set up for success. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-motivated professional who thrives on managing multiple deadlines and takes pride in delivering precise, data-driven results. \nResponsibilities: \nBid Management: Manage the bid pipeline by tracking invitations, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring all estimates are submitted ahead of strict deadlines.\nBlueprint & Scope Analysis: Thoroughly analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to fully understand customer expectations and project scope.\nCost Calculation: Prepare and assemble precise cost estimates using Google Sheets, taking ownership of building out highly accurate Project Unit tabs.\nStakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate with General Contractors to clarify, discuss, and define scopes of work.\nInternal Collaboration: Work with Market Directors & Pre-Construction to validate estimates and present final cost breakdowns to upper management for approval.\nDocument Organization: Maintain highly organized files for all drawings, specifications, quotes, and addendums for seamless project handoffs.\nQualifications: \nTechnical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets (or Microsoft Excel) with the ability to build and navigate complex spreadsheets.\nIndustry Knowledge: Proven ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints, architectural drawings, and construction specifications.\nTime Management: Highly motivated self-starter who excels at managing multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical scopes to external partners and internal leadership.\nContinuous Improvement: A strong willingness to ask questions, seek deeper understanding, and positively accept frequent feedback to refine estimating accuracy.\n*Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
