This is a senior, strategic role: you will set BD priorities, build and manage a team of BD Managers, own our largest and most complex partnerships, and act as a key external face of Plume with top-tier issuers, custodians, and institutional investors.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and own Plume's overall business development strategy, including target segments, geographic priorities, and partnership models.\nBuild, manage, and coach a team of Business Development Managers; set pipeline targets and hold the team accountable to them.\nPersonally lead negotiation and structuring of Plume's largest and most strategically important partnerships (major issuers, custodians, institutional allocators).\nWork directly with the CEO and executive team to align BD strategy with fundraising, product roadmap, and regulatory strategy.\nPartner closely with Legal, Compliance, and Product leadership to ensure deal structures are executable and compliant across jurisdictions.\nOwn external representation of Plume's partnership strategy at major industry conferences and in press/analyst conversations.\nBuild repeatable playbooks and processes for partner sourcing, diligence, structuring, and post-launch success.\nQualifications\n8+ years of business development, partnerships, or strategic sales experience, including 3+ years managing a team.\nDemonstrated success closing large, complex, multi-party deals in crypto, fintech, or institutional finance.\nStrong executive presence;
