Job responsibilities include:\nLeading the execution of Material Movement Automation capital projects across North American manufacturing and distribution locations.\nManaging engineering, facility layout, equipment installation, capacity, and other project activities to achieve automation objectives.\nPartnering with Technical Service Providers, suppliers, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to design and successfully implement automation solutions.\nFacilitating design discussions across Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, EHS, and IT to align project scope, requirements, and execution.\nDriving value engineering and cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and financial requirements.\nCoaching and developing Technical Service Providers and project team members to strengthen technical capabilities and improve project execution.\nTo succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.\nExpertise in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or Mechatronics with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in capital or expense projects.\nDemonstrated success in leading and delivering on capital projects - management/execution\nIncumbent should have the ability and flexibility to work in a distribution or manufacturing environment with a 24/7 operation\nIncumbent should be flexible to travel >50% as dictated by business need for meetings, design/develop and start-up support, benchmarking, or best practice sharing across North America\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the design requirement and safe operation of high-speed tissue manufacturing / Tissue Converting, high-speed personal care product manufacturing equipment and Logistics/Distribution facilities processes with an ability to translate that knowledge in support of automation implementation projects.\nExperience in a combination of engineering, operations, and/or leadership\nExperience with logistics and/or manufacturing automation technologies such as AGVs, AMRs, 6 axis robotics, etc. with desire to grow and employ that knowledge as a subject matter expert.\nRelated technical experience includes various roles at both mill/staff locations and/or cross sector experiences.\nDemonstrated success in managing TSPs supporting project execution.\nFamiliarity with capital project management, equipment installations and start-ups\nEvidence of continuing self-development\nLed by Purpose. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience.
