It starts with YOU.\nAbout You\nIn one of our Electrical Engineering roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.\nAs an Electrical Engineer at Kimberly-Clark, you will initiate, design, develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. \nIn this role you will provide leadership and creativity in design, development, optimization and implementation of electrical control systems. \nYou will have expertise across multiple technologies in both staff and plant environments and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide specific project work directions to a broad range of team members. \nThe incumbent reports to an Operations Platform Leader and receives direction in the form of general objectives.\nLeading single or multiple product or process improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $10 million from conception to commercialization.\nProviding functional leadership and creativity in the initiation, design, development and optimization of converting and manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives.\nDeveloping knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis and project management.\nCarrying out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance and other personnel.\nSeek, recognize, define and solve problems/opportunities to achieve unit objectives. Identify complex technical issues to determine root cause. \nExplore, initiate, design, optimize and develop manufacturing and supporting processes.\nAssisting in the development of others within the area of the incumbent’s expertise.\nTo succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:\nBachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University. Similar engineering degrees may also be considered.\nSpecific, in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in Electrical Engineering.\nExperience in a variety of plant and staff assignments, including maintenance and operations.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.\nEvidence of continuing self-development.\nStrong experience with manufacturing control systems, variable speed motor drives; HMI (Human Machine Interfaces); sensors; automated inspection systems.).\n1+ year of Electrical Engineering experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.\nLed by Purpose.
