It starts with YOU.\nIn this role, you will:\nBe running technologically advanced, high-speed manufacturing equipment and collaborating with new or junior team members to do their best work safely.\nBe safe. Safety is our top priority. We require all Operators / Technicians to work in a safe manner to consistently identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions. At times, this will include operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.\nUtilize problem solving and decision-making skills to establish proficiency in operating and making machine adjustments which are required to achieve and control high quality material standards.\nActively participate in a self-directed work team system which includes at times providing meaningful feedback to build participation and engagement with team members.\nDocument, account for and complete daily performance metrics in both verbal and written formats.\nIdentify machine faults and variations in runtime stability. \nEnsure that quality tests are done correctly and in a timely manner, and documents are maintained as required\nAccountable for total productive maintenance support including equipment reliability, planned downs, and lubrication tasks\nAccountable for continued individual development of skills including opportunities for special assignments, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, and advanced technical tasks\nTo succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:\nAre 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States \nHave a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate \n1+ years of continuous work experience. \nHave basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills \nAre able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime \nCan pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening \nCan pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT) \nHave a Safety Mindset: Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition\nAbility to learn and regularly utilize mill computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PIMS, etc.\nMechanical aptitude troubleshooting, disassembling equipment, parts replacement, general machine repair. Electrical aptitude is preferred but not required\nLed by Purpose.
