the Role\nWe are looking for an R&D Executive - Cosmetics to support the development, testing and improvement of cosmetic and personal care products across categories including Skin Care, Hair Care, Bath & Body and Personal Care.\nThe role will involve hands-on laboratory work, formulation trials, product evaluation and R&D documentation, along with coordination with cross-functional teams during product development and scale-up.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in the development and improvement of cosmetic and personal care formulations across various product categories.\nConduct laboratory trials, formulation experiments and sample preparation as per defined requirements.\nEvaluate product samples for appearance, texture, fragrance, consistency and other relevant parameters.\nSupport stability studies and maintain records of observations and test results.\nAssist in identifying and troubleshooting basic formulation or product-related issues.\nPrepare and maintain formulation sheets, trial records, sample records, test observations and development reports.\nMaintain proper documentation of all R&D activities and ensure records are updated accurately.\nCoordinate with Quality, Production, Packaging and other cross-functional teams during product development and scale-up.\nSupport the transfer of developed formulations from laboratory trials to production batches.\nEnsure adherence to R&D procedures, GMP, laboratory practices and safety requirements.\nMaintain cleanliness, organisation and proper handling of laboratory equipment and materials.\nSupport the R&D team in benchmarking existing products and exploring improvements in formulations, ingredients and product performance.\nQualification\nB.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc. in Cosmetic Technology, Cosmetic Science or Chemistry.\nCandidates with relevant academic projects or internship experience in cosmetic formulation / personal care R&D will be preferred.\nKey Skills\nBasic understanding of cosmetic formulation and raw materials.\nKnowledge of skin care, hair care, bath & body and personal care products.\nGood laboratory and sample-handling skills.\nBasic understanding of stability testing, product evaluation and troubleshooting.\nGood documentation and record-keeping skills.\nStrong attention to detail and analytical approach.\nGood communication and cross-functional coordination skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as as part of a team.\nPreferred Candidate Profile\nPassion for cosmetic product development and formulation.\nCurious and willing to learn new ingredients, formulations and product technologies.\nHands-on approach with good laboratory discipline.\nStrong focus on quality, accuracy and adherence to
