This is an office-based role.\nResponsibilities\nThe ideal candidate would be able to work in a fast-paced collaborative team setting and communicate effectively to achieve group goals. This individual would work closely with accounting team members to support full project lifecycle business functions.\nSupport Project Accountants with business-related tasks for both internal and external client requests\nPrepare and send monthly invoices that may require expense backup, timesheet detail, pay applications, or other client-specific invoicing requirements\nPartner with Project Accountants to monitor and follow-up on unpaid invoices to collect accounts receivable balances\nWork closely with accounting team members to support full project lifecycle business functions\nMonitor and collect accounts receivable by working directly with clients\nEvaluate incoming payments to ensure proper cash application\nProcess accounts payable, overhead invoices, check requests, and respond to vendor inquiries\nCash receipt backup\nData entry directly into internal and external accounting systems\nReview client contracts to ensure accurate project setup\nElectronic contract and document management\nAssist with other general accounting support functions as required\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1+ years of relevant accounting experience or coursework\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nHigh degree of professionalism and strong people skills\nExcellent team player\nAbility to multi-task and work effectively in a deadline driven environment\nEffective oral and written communication skills\nDeltek CostPoint proficiency is a plus \nSalary Range: $52,000-$67,000\nWhy Kimley-Horn?\nAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
