This is not a remote position.\nResponsibilities\nServe in a technical role on bridge design projects\nPerform structural analysis, design, and planning on bridges and other transportation structures\nDevelop full sets of structural drawings and technical specifications without guidance\nProjects could include bridge design, box culvert, and retaining wall design\nTrain and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs) in structural engineering\nPerform structural design calculations, plan production activities, and prepare project document submittal packages, while maintaining a Quality Control program for the entire project\nLead and provide support for construction phase efforts on building projects in structural engineering\nSupport and participate in meetings and presentations with clients, contractors, and design team members\nContribute to identifying project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients\nQualifications\n4+ years of relevant engineering design experience\nProfessional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)\nKnowledge and experience in Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and Bentley Microstation with some ability to produce drawings and details, when needed\nKnowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software, such as MathCAD Prime, LARSA, STAAD.Pro, MDX, FB-MultiPier, LPILE, LEAP Bridge Concrete, LEAP Bridge Steel, and other structural related design and analysis software\nStrong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines\nDetail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment\nAbility to multi-task and work on a variety of projects concurrently\nExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous mindset on personal and staff development\nPositive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic \nWhy Kimley-Horn?\nAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
