This is not a remote position.\nResponsibilities\nPre-Design Engineering\nCoordination and verification of as-built drawings\nPerform field investigations.\nSet up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.\nCollaborate with team members regarding design coordination, schedules, and deliverables.\nPerform feasibility studies.\nPrepare schematic designs.\nDesign Engineering\nDesign of electrical systems including Ports & Harbors electrification, electric vehicle charging, and building electrical\nResponsible for the development of reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, equipment selection, solar system sizing, and power analyses.\nParticipate on project teams in an active production role\nDaily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines\nPerform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE.\nDevelop single-line diagrams and load schedules.\nDesign lighting selection and controls.\nDesign normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.\nPerform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies using ETAP and/or SKM\nQualifications\nIn the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters)\nWhy Kimley-Horn?\nAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
