Build your way to a senior engineering role learning and working with our world-class team.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop skills as a project engineer by assisting with the delivery, design, and detailing of projects while working with more senior staff and BIM staff who will coach, guide, and support your growth\nPerform structural design calculations, plan production activities, and prepare project document submittal packages while working with a larger design team\nLead and provide support for structural construction phase efforts on building projects\nSupport your design and collaborate in meetings and presentations with clients, contractors, and design team members\nServe as a technical and professional mentor to entry-level and developing engineers\nConduct site visits when needed\nQualifications\nABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, Master’s degree preferred.\n1+ years of new and existing buildings structural engineering design experience, including the design of concrete, steel, masonry, wood materials\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate\nKnowledge and experience in Revit, with some ability to produce drawings and details, when needed\nKnowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software, such as RISA, RAM Structural System, E-TABS, MathCAD, TEDDS, ENERCALC and other similar structural related design software\nStrong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines\nDetail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment\nAbility to multi-task and work on a variety of projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment\nPassion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals\nExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous mindset on personal and staff development and ability to grow through feedback\nBasic understanding of building materials, overall systems and assemblies\nSalary range: $84,000-$87,000\nWhy Kimley-Horn?\nAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
