This position offers extensive autonomy to lead, direct, and scale the practice with a forward-thinking approach.\nResponsibilities\nThe qualified individual will lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients\nLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principals\nProviding vision, business planning and strategy\nEstablishing goals\nBuilding and maintaining positive client relationships\nHaving open communication with your partners and team\nGrowing and leading a land development practice\n\nOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor\nThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business\nWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership\nQualifications\n8+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects\nRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license\nExtensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners\nStrong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D \nBusiness development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work\nAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization\nAbility to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner\nDemonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably\nWhy Kimley-Horn?\nAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
