This is not a remote position.\nResponsibilities\nYou’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a wide range of project types - from mixed-use and multifamily developments to parks, urban streetscapes, and civic destinations. You’ll take design ideas from concept through construction, contributing to every stage of the process.\nLead and support the design, documentation, and delivery of public and private sector projects.\nDevelop creative, technically sound site planning and landscape design solutions - with a strong understanding of grading, drainage, and constructability.\nPrepare and review construction documents, details, and specifications with an emphasis on quality control and quality assurance.\nParticipate in the construction administration phase, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site visits, and coordination with contractors and clients.\nManage tasks, schedules, and budgets while coordinating across disciplines.\nMentor junior designers and contribute to team growth and training.\nEngage directly with clients and city representatives during design and review processes.\nContribute to proposals, scope writing, and project presentations.\nLeverage tools such as AutoCAD Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, SketchUp, and GIS to develop and communicate design intent.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.\n3+ years of professional experience in design and production.\nRegistered or on-track for Landscape Architect licensure (PLA/CLA).\nStrong grading, technical detailing, and construction documentation skills.\nExperience with QA/QC processes and construction administration.\nProficiency in AutoCAD Land F/X and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Lumion, SketchUp, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office\nProject management experience or a desire to grow into leadership and build others.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.\nA passion for design excellence, client service, and creating lasting places.\n**Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview**\nWhy Kimley-Horn?\nAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
