The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting network solutions that bridge on-premises, branch, and cloud environments.\nThis role will be in our Twin Cities Office! This is not a remote position.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain Azure routing policies, particularly for vWAN architectures\nConfigure and manage Site-to-Site VPN, ExpressRoute,\nConfigure BGP routing, dynamic routing policies, and route propagation between SD-WAN campus and data center edges and cloud hubs\nTroubleshoot routing, latency, and connectivity issues across on-prem and cloud environments\nMonitor network performance and capacity\nMaintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures\nRespond to escalated network incidents\nPartner with cloud, security, and application teams on network-related projects and migrations\nQualifications\n4-6 years of experience in network engineering, with direct experience in Azure cloud networking\nHands-on experience with enterprise scale WAN, LAN and vWAN\nStrong understanding of network routing protocols, BGP, SMB, DNS, IPsec, OSPF\nExperience with ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, NGFW\nExperience designing and supporting multi-region cloud networking\nFamiliarity with network segmentation principles\nWorking knowledge of IPsec and QoS in SDWAN environments\nExcellent documentation and communication skills\nExperience with multi-cloud networking (AWS/GCP) a plus\nRelevant certifications such as AZ-700\nThe base salary range for this position is: $80,000-$95,000 depending on experience and location.\nWhy Kimley-Horn?\nAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
