Build your way to a senior engineering/project management role learning and working with our world-class team.\nResponsibilities\nCreate innovative structural solutions to achieve our client’s vision\nManage project tasks as part of a team to meet schedules\nProduce design documents from schematic level to final design in a collaborative environment with mentorship from senior engineers\nDevelop your skills as a project manager assisting with client interactions and project financials\nAssist with project proposals and work planning\nServe as a technical and professional mentor to entry-level and developing engineers\nContinue to develop your technical knowledge with a local and national staff of senior engineers with diverse building design expertise\nSupport your design by assisting contractors with shop drawings, RFIs and participating in O/A/C meetings\nHelp promote collaboration between engineers for our diverse multi-office structural practice by developing standards, and making connections with others that share your professional interests\nQualifications\nABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, Master’s degree preferred\n5-12 years of building-related structural engineering experience, including design of steel, concrete, masonry and wood/timber gravity & lateral systems\nLicensed Professional Engineer (PE), Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) preferred\nWorking knowledge of current structural software (Revit, RISA, RAM Structural System, ETABS, Enercalc, etc.)\nKnowledge and experience with BIM workflow, with some ability to produce drawings and details in Revit when needed\nStrong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines\nDetail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment\nAbility to multi-task and work on a variety of projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment\nPassion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals\nExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous mindset on personal and staff development and ability to grow through feedback\nSalary Range: $95,000 - $135,000\nWhy Kimley-Horn?\nAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
