Its team of industry professionals operates with a culture centered on accountability, adaptability, collaboration, and excellence.\nAbout the Position\nThe Senior SCADA Engineer will serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting the company's Operational Technology (OT), SCADA systems, and data infrastructure across its operating fleet of renewable and conventional generation assets.\nReporting to the Manager of SCADA Engineering, this role will provide technical leadership, troubleshooting expertise, and field support to ensure reliable operation of control and data systems.\nThe ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Ignition, including both backend and frontend applications, along with strong knowledge of SCADA, RTUs, data historians, and power plant control systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the subject matter expert for OT and SCADA equipment, including servers and point configurations.\nProvide technical mentorship and expertise to other SCADA engineers.\nTroubleshoot and maintain connections between OT equipment, including SEL RTACs, RIGs, RTUs, and Campbell Scientific data loggers.\nSupport facilities utilizing Ignition, CIMPLICITY, WonderWare, ABB SYS600, and SEL RTAC HMI.\nMaintain data connections between operating facilities, remote operations centers, corporate data servers, OEM SCADA systems, RTUs, and OPC servers.\nPartner with internal and third-party IT teams to support plant operations.\nProvide guidance to ensure compliance with NERC CIPrequirements.\n\nDevelop long-term strategies for standardizing OT equipment across the fleet.\nLead SCADA and OT projects with minimal oversight.\nSupport technical analysis, emerging technology evaluation, system improvements, and reliability initiatives.\nProvide field support and work directly with site teams to troubleshoot and maintain SCADA systems.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience;
