Our valued team members are the heart of our mission and their well-being directly impacts the lives of those in our care.\nThe Housekeeping Aide reports to the Environmental Services Manager and is expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the home by cleaning and sanitizing rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas following established policies and procedures. A major part of your role as a housekeeper will be to actively involve residents in everyday domestic living, creating meaningful occupation & activities.\nWage Rate:\nThe starting wage rate is $23.662/hour and increases past probation.\nVacancy:\nThis is an existing vacancy.\nResponsibilities:\nReceives assignment, assembles required materials and supplies, loads service cart and transports to work area.\nUsing specified cleaning/disinfecting/sanitizing agents and following specific procedures, work patterns and routines, performs tasks such as: vacuuming, sweeping, dry/wet mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing/disinfection floors, spot cleaning walls, windows and doors between washing, dusting, washing, sanitizing/disinfecting furniture, shelves, woodwork, etc., emptying waste baskets and rearranging furniture, removing waste, daily cleaning and disinfecting daily all bathroom fixtures and replenishing supplies, cleaning floors, fixtures and furnishings in utility rooms, kitchen closets, etc.\nEnsures privacy of residents during performance of duties.\nRespects privacy, dignity and promotes confidentiality within a warm homely setting.\nPrepares room for new occupant following prescribed procedures.\nNotifies ESM when supplies are low or equipment is malfunctioning.\nReturns unused supplies and cleans and stores equipment.\nIdentifies potential liability issues and takes action to minimize risk\nAny and all other tasks as assigned\nQualifications:\nThe qualifications needed to join our family are as follows:\nSome understanding of chemicals and equipment used in cleaning\nAbility to follow written and oral instructions\nAbility to read, write and understand oral and written instructions\nAbility to work from the heart and make others smile\nAbility to make the most of the time you have to provide positive social interactions\nMust have a clear vulnerable sector screen, no older than 6 months, TB test results less than 6 months old, must be able to provide three supervisory reference\nWhat do we offer you?\nCompetitive wages\nEmployee perks\nSupport for personal and professional growth\nWe appreciate all applicants' interest, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.\nAs part of our recruitment process, we may use secure, limited AI tools to assist with administrative tasks such as organizing applications or analyzing role alignment.
