Every day, you’ll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives. \nJob Overview \nWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Material Supply Planner, Raw Materials to join the Kinder’s Team. Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring our Co-manufacturers’ on hand, inbound and on order inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, to maintain production continuity. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for planning, logistics and supply chain management, this is the perfect opportunity for you! \nMaterial Supply Planner, Raw Materials Responsibilities & Duties \nSupport the Strategic Sourcing Manger in stocking plans that enable co-manufacturers to meet production schedules. \nManage raw material inbound schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies to maintainer required stock levels. \nMonitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. \nDay-to-day order management and management of deliveries \nSupport the production planning process by ensuring timely delivery of dependent materials. \nTake follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production \nCollaborate with suppliers & Co-manufacturers to secure the best delivery schedule based on production timing. \nIdentify and resolve supply chain issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions. \nMonitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy \nCreate reports to analysis and update material positions & coverage \nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials to the production line as and when required, avoiding disruption to production. \nGenerate and communicate supplier material delivery schedules and forecasts to ensure they reflect requirements and meet demands. \nDevelop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time. \nDevelop and implement processes and work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives. \nSupport assessment and sourcing of suppliers in conjunction Sourcing Team. \nParticipate in supplier/co-man meetings to ensure demand for materials is met. \nResolve supplier concerns and evaluate supplier performance and KPI’s \nMaterial Supply Planner Qualifications & Skills \nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. \nPrevious experience in supply chain planning or material management. \nProficiency in supply chain management software and tools. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines. \nKnowledge of industry regulations and best practices in material planning. \nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. \nMinimum of 3 years of experience in a Material Supply Planning or related role. \nStrong knowledge of inventory management and forecasting techniques. \nAbility to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. \nLocation & Pay Transparency\nThe position will be based in Walnut Creek, CA. Fridays are flex days with employees having the opportunity to choose to be either in the office or to work from home based on what makes most sense for them.\nThe expected starting salary range for this role is $115,000- $130,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.
