Final rate will reflect relevant experience, completed years of study, skills, and internal equity considerations.\nHow You Will Make an Impact\nYou will contribute to the Innovation Hub by:\nIdentification and investigation of new technologies with the potential to provide transformative improvements to Kinectrics operations and/or provide new and innovative products/services for our clients.\nDeveloping technical white papers, market assessments, business cases, and CAPEX inputs that support new product development and commercialization.\nCoordinating and monitoring innovation projects and supporting ideation & roadmap sessions that turn opportunities into actionable plans.\nSupporting innovation-focused proposals, funding applications, IP reviews, and strategic partnerships with operational teams, academia, and industry collaborators.\nDriving Kinectrics' strategic growth through business development, brand-building, market analysis, and the development of growth and competitive differentiation strategies.\nWhat You Need to Succeed\nA successful candidate is highly motivated, innovative, and able to manage multiple initiatives with a strong work ethic. They bring sound problem-solving and research skills to develop practical solutions to technical and management challenges, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\nSkills/qualifications include:\nCurrently enrolled full-time in a post-secondary Engineering, Science, Entrepreneurship, Management or related program requiring a co-op placement.\nStrong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical information.\nClear written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences, including operational teams, collaborators, and leaders.\nHighly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI, workflow, or project management tools is an asset.\nGraduate students from the M.Eng., M.A.Sc., Ph.D., and MBA programs who have substantial undergraduate co-op, industry or research work experience are strongly encouraged to apply.\nOur Culture\nKinectrics fosters a collaborative and inclusive culture where contributions are valued and respected.
