As a Kinectrics Engineer your work will help maintain a safe and sustainable zero-emission energy source, providing engineering solutions for traditional nuclear as well as some of the newest technologies in nuclear today!\nAbout the Job\nIn this role you will be performing stress analyses, preparing piping and engineering specifications and ensuring code compliance. You will be working with a team of engineers across disciplines and locations on client projects involving modifications to existing power generation facilities and plant systems for today's leading energy providers.\nDesign and analysis of changes to existing power plants as well as new plant systems.\nPerform calculations, develop isometrics, and provide design recommendations, specifications, and design change packages\nLead design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project design team \nProvide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects\nAssist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development\nMentor junior engineers.\nQualifications/Requirements:\nBS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university required.\nMinimum of 5-10 years piping/mechanical design experience with focus on pipe stress analysis projects in nuclear facilities, oil & gas or similar systems.\nStrong organizational skills.
