Other elements may also include pay for performance programs (merit pay and discretionary annual performance bonuses), comprehensive health benefits and wellness programs, membership discounts, employee referral bonus, eligibility for our pension plan, career development programs, and professional development/educational reimbursements.\nAccountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact\nEnsure accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and adherence to collective agreements/ ESA rules.\nReview and verify bi-weekly and monthly payrolls produced by others.\nUse of various systems to maintain and report on employee data (ADP Workforce Now, SAP).\nProduce regular scheduled reports and analytics as requested by the business i.e. headcount reports, workforce reports, salary information, recruitment reports, ad-hoc HR dashboards etc.\nPartnering with the Finance team, support month end processes and reconciliations.\nPrepare documentation for internal and external audits and year-end reconciliations, including Discrepancy Reports, T4’s, T4A’s and T4 summaries and CRA PIER Reports received after yearend.\nAddress both internal and external payroll inquiries.\nSupport Business improvement initiatives, systems upgrades & testing.\nDevelop end user documentation, training videos, and assist the HR team to ensure that there is a complete understanding of HR systems and processes.\nPerform internal HR audits; review overall processes and suggest improvements as needed.\nSpecific assignments will vary with the skills and experience of the successful applicant.\nWhat You Need to Succeed\nSuccessful completions of a related Post Secondary Education, CPM designation is considered an asset.\n8+ years of direct payroll experience leading the payroll function with full ownership.\nKnowledge of ADP Workforce Now is mandatory; SAP experience is considered an asset along with international payroll experience.\nExperience with payroll processing of 500+ employees and an expert in complex payroll issues.\nExcellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills in order to work co-operatively with employees, management and union representatives.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.\nStrong desire to learn.\n\nThis role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. \nKinectrics Inc is strongly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) and welcomes applications from all individuals.
