At the manager’s discretion, this outline can change to meet current business needs.\n\nJob Position Summary: Junior Technical Engineer will support manufacturing and engineering activities within our aerospace manufacturing operations.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor's or associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.\n0-3 years of engineering, machining, manufacturing, internship, co-op, or related technical experience.\nBasic understanding of manufacturing and machining principles.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings; familiarity with GD&T is preferred.\nExposure to CAD/CAM software, CNC machining, or CNC programming is preferred.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on manufacturing.\nComfortable working both in an engineering/office environment and on the manufacturing floor.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers, machinists, operators, Quality personnel, and management.\nWillingness to learn new manufacturing technologies, equipment, software, and processes.\nAerospace or precision manufacturing experience through coursework, internships, co-ops, or previous employment is a plus.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nAssist senior engineers and programmers with the development and improvement of manufacturing processes for aerospace components.\nReview engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and customer requirements to develop an understanding of part and process requirements.\nAssist in developing and updating manufacturing routers, work instructions, setup sheets, process documentation, and other technical records.\nSupport CNC programming and process development activities under the guidance of senior technical personnel.\nWork with machinists and operators on the production floor to assist with setups, process prove-outs, and troubleshooting.\nHelp investigate machining, tooling, dimensional, and manufacturing issues and support the development of corrective actions.\nAssist with tooling, fixture, and work holding evaluations and improvements.\nWork with Quality and Inspection personnel to review inspection results and address dimensional or process concerns.\nSupport first-piece and new-product introduction activities.\nCollect and analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for improvements in quality, cycle time, tooling, and process efficiency.\nAssist with root-cause investigations related to manufacturing nonconformances and process issues.\nMaintain accurate engineering and manufacturing documentation.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects focused on quality, efficiency, safety, and process repeatability.\nLearn and follow applicable aerospace quality standards, customer requirements, and internal manufacturing procedures.\nProvide day-to-day technical support to Production as needed.\nWorking Conditions:\nNormal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines;
