As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions and resolving issues for end users while balancing service-level requirements with a strong focus on customer experience.\nThis is a hands-on role working 100% onsite in a secure environment that requires an active NV2 Australian Government security clearance. The role is open to candidates based in Canberra, Sydney, Queensland, or Perth.\nResponsibilities will include:\nProvide first- and second-level support for desktop-related issues.\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components on desktops and laptops.\nCollaborate with end users to resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.\nPerform routine maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and system upgrades.\nMonitor and manage desktop security, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.\nWork closely with IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of desktop systems with other infrastructure components.\nAssist with end user support, requests and triaging for specialist applications incidents.\nWhat you’ll bring to the table:\nAustralian Citizenship and an active NV2 Australian Government security clearance.\nPrevious experience as a Desktop Engineer, Field Support Engineer, or in a EUC Support role.\nSound knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, Cisco, and DNS.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.\nA positive and professional attitude, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.\nA customer-focused approach and the confidence to support VIP and high-priority users.\nA willingness to seek assistance and collaborate with colleagues, along with contributing to the knowledge base and supporting continual improvement.\nKnowledge and practical understanding of ITIL processes, with certifications highly regarded.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing processes, technologies, and operational requirements.\nDon’t meet every requirement?
