To achieve the precision and scalability required for modern IoT solutions, we build a full stack of software components, including firmware, backend, and frontend applications.\nJoin our team to scale existing solutions and create innovative KINEXON products in close collaboration with colleagues from our software and hardware departments.\nYOUR QUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for a mid-level or senior embedded software engineer with experience developing Linux and RTOS-based systems:\nLinux development & system programming, u-boot, device tree & drivers, or kernel modules\nEmbedded Linux build environment: Poky (Yocto Project, OpenEmbedded, BitBake) is a plus\nHardware interfaces such as GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet\nEmbedded security concepts (image signing, encryption, secure updates)\nExperience with automated firmware, hardware-in-the-loop and integration testing\nVery good English skills and the ability to collaborate in an international engineering environment\nAdditional experience that would be an advantage:\nVariscite or similar ARM platforms\nBitbake as build automation tool\nLowlevel MCU programming\nFreeRTOS/Zephyr or comparable RTOS environments\nRadio protocols\nYOUR TASKS\nAs an Embedded Software Engineer in our RTLS team, you will:\nDevelop and maintain software for our RTLS anchors and sensors\nDesign and implement embedded Linux and FreeRTOS applications\nIntegrate hardware components and communication interfaces\nDevelop and maintain device drivers and Linux kernel modules where required\nImplement secure software deployment and update mechanisms\nImprove system reliability, performance, and maintainability\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing\nCollaborate closely with firmware, hardware, backend, and product teams\nOUR TECH STACK\nWe develop software across the entire embedded stack, from firmware to Linux-based edge devices.
