Once training and development needs are identified this role will put strategies into place with our operational leaders to help our people grow and develop. Ultimately, you will help Kinexus Group succeed by identifying areas of risk during monitoring and providing the training and development needed for professional growth.\nOUR DESIRED OUTCOMES:\n\nUnder the general direction of the Executive Vice President, Workforce, the Quality & Training Manager will be primarily responsible for monitoring and follow-up staff development identified to ensure the integrity of all Michigan Works service delivery. This includes the identification of areas of strength and weakness in service operations and enhancing staff understanding via training development, ultimately minimizing risk and reducing organizational liability. The Quality & Training Manager will work with a variety of operational leaders to ensure training needs identified from monitoring are corrected.\nWHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU :\nWorks closely with the Executive Vice President, Workforce on the development, scoping and prioritization of the annual compliance monitoring calendar.\nResponsible for Internal Monitoring, including but not limited to:\nMaintaining documentation to support compliance, monitoring findings and observations. Documentation is organized and available upon Federal, State or Leadership requests.\nDevelop monitoring guides, desk review formats and related templates for use in compliance reviews.\nPerforming at least one review of each program annually, producing a report, working with operational staff to delivery staff training and performing corrective action follow-up, if applicable.\nSupport the PATH team with monthly PATH Data Verification - report to the State\nSupport the PATH team with semi-Annual PATH Internal Controls - report to the State\nSupport the PATH team with semi-Annual FAET Case Review - report to the State\nProvides written reports submitted to Manager, Risk Management that identify the “root cause” of identified violations of regulation or policy/procedure with documented corrective action requirements.\nMeets with operational leaders to assist and develop plans to address noncompliance\nRemains up to date with current in state/federal/local policies and regulations related to all federal, state and other applicable programs in support of all funding sources.\nMaintains the SharePoint Compliance page as a resource to staff.\nSupports staff for external monitoring - guides, pre-visit documents, interviews, file preparation. \nLeads corrective action responses, if needed.\nLeads the development and implementation of compliance-focused training strategies aligned with workforce policies, grant requirements, and regulatory standards.\nAssess organizational training needs and deliver targeted learning solutions (e-learning, workshops, coaching) to strengthen staff capacity in program and policy compliance.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: \nBachelor’s degree in business or public administration, human services, pre-law or accounting or the equivalent combination of training and/or experience\nWorkforce Development and/or quality assurance experience\nPrior experience in project management\nProficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products\nDetailed oriented and strong organizational skills\nStrong interpersonal and communications skills\nEffective Presentation skills\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE: \nResearch, evaluation, statistical preparation and program compliance\nCurrent knowledge of effective learning and development methods\nFamiliarity with e-learning platforms and practices\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nCompetitive salary & benefits\nFlexible and open\nOpportunities for development, growth and giving back \nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US: \nA robust onboarding experience to integrate you into our team.\nTeam of Teams training in support of the organizational strategies.\nJob training and development to ensure you are established and growing in your role.\nCross Operational Meetings with your peers.\nBe a part of transformational change in Michigan.\nWe have unique culture that requires individuals to be BOLD, INSPIRATIONAL, ENTREPRENEURIAL and INCLUSIVE.
