Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Leadership Team and senior partners across King, this person will connect priorities, coordinate delivery and identify opportunities where greater collaboration can create stronger outcomes.\nThis is not a traditional Marketing Operations, PMO or executive support role. It requires someone with strong marketing expertise who understands how different marketing disciplines contribute across the funnel, and who can translate that understanding into clearer priorities, stronger coordination and more effective delivery.\nThe successful candidate will become a key engine for the Marketing organisation. They will enable marketing leaders to focus on setting direction and delivering functional excellence, with confidence that the organisation around them is aligned, informed and moving forward.\nYOUR ROLE WITHIN THE KINGDOM\nAs Associate Director, CMO Office, you will:\nWork closely with the CMO to structure and maintain visibility over key priorities across the Marketing organisation.\nLead and develop a small team, setting clear priorities and focusing support where it can have the greatest impact.\nOwn and coordinate the objective-setting and review process, ensuring progress, risks and areas requiring support are clearly understood.\nOwn the preparation of key meetings and presentations, agreeing agendas with the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team, coordinating inputs and creating clear, focused narratives.\nOwn and maintain a consolidated view of priorities and commitments, surfacing dependencies or issues that require leadership attention.\nWork with members of the Marketing Leadership Team and relevant teams when priorities require broader coordination, ensuring responsibilities, dependencies and next steps are clear.\nSupport clear and consistent communication across Marketing, helping the organisation stay informed, aligned and connected.\nCapture important decisions and follow up with the relevant owners to keep commitments on track, escalating delays or unresolved decisions where needed.\nCoordinate selected projects or team moments sponsored by the CMO, taking responsibility for the agreed plan, milestones and follow through.\nImprove the templates, forums and ways of working that help Marketing operate with greater clarity and focus.\nUse AI tools to improve the quality and speed of planning, synthesis and communication.\nSKILLS TO CREATE THRILLS\nExperience\nExperience in a CMO Office,C-Level support, marketing strategy, business operations, programme management, consulting or similar role.\nExperience working closely with senior leaders in a complex organisation.\nExperience managing and developing a small team.\nExperience coordinating objectives and priorities across multiple teams while respecting functional ownership.\nExperience preparing senior-level meetings, presentations and communications.\nExperience within gaming, entertainment or another consumer digital business would be valuable.\nKnowledge & Skills\nStrong understanding of how a large Marketing organisation operates across different disciplines.\nExcellent organisational and programme coordination skills.\nAbility to synthesise complex information and identify what requires leadership attention.\nStrong written communication and presentation skills.\nAbility to influence and create accountability without formal authority.\nStrong judgement and discretion.\nWHO YOU ARE\nYou’ll likely be someone who:\nIs hands-on and has a strong sense of follow-through.\nCreates structure without adding unnecessary process.\nAnticipates what will be needed and identifies issues early.\nCan move comfortably between strategic priorities and important details.\nCommunicates clearly and knows how to simplify complexity.\nBuilds trust and works effectively with senior stakeholders.\nIs a supportive manager who sets clear direction and helps others succeed.\nIs collaborative, pragmatic and comfortable working in a changing environment.\nCares about helping Marketing succeed as one connected team.\nIs curious about games, players and the ways Marketing can help King grow.\nAbout King\nWith a mission of Making the World Playful, King is a leading interactive entertainment company for the mobile world with more than 20 years of history of delivering some of the world’s most iconic games in the mobile gaming industry, including the world-famous Candy Crush franchise, as well as other mobile titles such as Farm Heroes Saga.
