As part of a diverse and talented analytics community, you’ll support multiple teams in creating entertaining, data-driven experiences for millions of players.\nWorking closely with game designers, developers, and other data scientists, you will define experiments, drive actionable insights, and continuously evolve how we understand and enhance our games.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, analyze, and present results from A/B tests to inform feature and game development.\nConduct rigorous data explorations and develop models that uncover new opportunities.\nDeliver clear and impactful visualizations and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.\nEnsure data quality and accessibility to support informed decision-making across teams.\nSupport the evolution of Catalog Games’ data science methodologies and tooling.\nCollaborate across games to share insights, tools, and learnings that benefit the broader portfolio.\nSystematically break down abstract problems into concrete analytical questions.\nSkills to Create Thrills\nAnalytical & Technical:\nStrong background in applied statistics, experimentation, and predictive modeling.\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL for working with large-scale, complex datasets (300M+ players).\nSkilled in Python or R for statistical analysis, modeling and automations.\nDeep understanding of statistical methodologies, including A/B testing and experimental design.\nExperience with big data platforms (e.g., GCP/BigQuery, AWS…).\nFamiliarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).\nKnowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), and experience in collaborative programming.\nBusiness & Communication:\nStrong business insight: able to frame product questions into structured analyses.\nEffective communicator: present data stories clearly and influence diverse stakeholders.\nCollaborative mindset: ability to work cross-functionally and guide decision-making.\nTasty Bonus Skills\nExperience with mobile game analytics or in-game advertising.\nInterest in agentic workflows (Codex, Claude…)\nContributions to data science communities or internal capability-building initiatives.\nA Great Saga Needs All Sorts of Heroes\nMaking games is fun-especially with people who share the same passion.
