The team provides King’s telemetry platform, enabling our games to define, capture, validate, transport, and manage player-event data so it can be trusted by analytics and downstream systems.\nYou will help ensure continuity across backend development, operational support, and key strategic initiatives.\nThis is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of reliable services and integrations, collaborate closely with product and engineering partners, and make sound technical decisions in a fast-moving environment.\nYour role within the Kingdom\nBuild, maintain, and improve backend services and platform capabilities that support Telemetry Data.\n\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; participatein operational support and improve service reliability.\n\nWork with engineers, data teams, product partners, and game teams to clarify requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions.\n\nReview code, contribute to technical design, and promote strong engineering practices for quality, observability, and maintainability.\n\nDocument systems, decisions, and operational procedures to support effective handover and team continuity.\n\nSkills to create thrills\nSignificant professional experience as a backend or platform engineer, including ownership of production systems.\n\nStrong software-engineering fundamentals: designing maintainable services, writing high-quality code, testing, debugging, and code review.\n\nExperience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, APIs, and Streaming pipelines.\n\nA strong operational mindset, including incident investigation, monitoring, and reliability improvements.\n\nAbility to work independently, prioritizeeffectively, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners.\n\nA collaborative approach and willingness to support a team through a time-bound transition.\n\nTech Stack\nStrong Java experience and familiarity with cloud-native technologies.
