We help teams spend less time waiting on systems and more time creating great games.\nYour role within the Kingdom\nAs a Senior Systems Engineer (Developer Experience & Infrastructure), you’ll improve the platforms developers rely on every day-making them faster, more reliable and easier to use.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nElevate Developer Experience: Design, build, and support self-service platform tools and automated workflows that speed up developer feedback loops.\nScale Infrastructure: Maintain and modernize our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerized build systems across multi-OS and cloud environments.\nSystem Design & Reliability: Shape platform architecture, strengthen monitoring, and troubleshoot complex distributed services.\nCollaborate & Mentor: Partner closely with game teams across multiple locations, write clear platform documentation, and share knowledge across the engineering community.\nSkills to create thrills\nWe evaluate candidates based on core capabilities and engineering fundamentals rather than tool-by-tool memorization.\nProduction Linux Expertise: Solid experience managing and troubleshooting Linux systems (e.g., Debian/Ubuntu) in production or high-availability settings.\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Puppet, or similar frameworks.\nCloud & Container Orchestration: Practical experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\nAutomation & Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy, or PowerShell) to eliminate toil and automate pipelines.\nVersion Control Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Git workflows and modern developer ecosystems.\nCollaborative Mindset: Strong communication skills, structured task prioritization, and a passion for supporting fellow developers.\nManaged Services Operations: Experience owning and operating managed services as github.com, artifactory, perforce, builbuddy, buildkite.\nBonus Points (Nice to Have, Not Required!)\nExperience maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines across multi-OS environments (Linux, macOS, Windows).\nFamiliarity with build optimization or repository management tools (e.g., Artifactory, SonarQube, Incredibuild, or Veertu Anka).\nExposure to cloud-native monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or Splunk).\nSecurity awareness: An understanding of platform security and software supply-chain practices.\nBring your craft, curiosity and care for fellow developers.
