To develop affordable and sustainable innovation in OEB (Own Exclusive Brands) for Paint & Painting Tools, to be more agile in new product development and be more impactful on performance.\nWhat's the job?\nCreate a closer proximity to our customers. Building a deeper knowledge and understanding of their lives and homes. \nProvide an effective brief to the Customer Insight team to ensure they are clear on data requirements needed to drive the right activity \nAbility to translate this knowledge into both a short- and long-term strategic plan identifying the key levers that will drive overall growth for your area of accountability \nIdentify commercial potential for the OEB range by analysing relevant data, trends & industry insights and utilising to create and maintain a more customer-centric, relevant, and right-sized range. \nTake a lead role on identifying New Product Development opportunities, inputting into eligibility criteria, and using the Business direction.\nCreate the environment and space to engage effectively with the Banners to present our OEB strategy and create supporting materials \nUnderstand the potential additions to the Banners 'ask', to take the OEB range to the full potential. \nBuild range recommendations that generate buy in and instil confidence across the Banners. \nHave full visibility of the Banners’ full range for insight purposes \nWhat you'll bring\nStrategic thinking and vision and the ability to translate that into a strategic plan \nStrong analytical skills to draw insight from a variety of commercial and customer data points and identify trends \nPrevious industry and product knowledge experience within a retail environment \nExpertise and the practical application of New Product Development processes \nGeneral knowledge of OEB brands and products \nStrong commercial acumen with an ability to analyse and understand financial data and measure business performance. \nExcellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively and maintain relationships within a matrix organisation. \nExcellent project management s\nHow We Work We believe in flexibility and balance.
