You will lead a Centre of Excellence development project funded under the Slovakia Programme (ESIF) as a complementary part of a Horizon Europe Teaming for Excellence initiative.\nYou’ll become a key member of a unique research institute whose vision is to build an innovating ecosystem in the field of artificial intelligence, grounded in scientific excellence and a strong project team.\nYour role will be to ensure the effective and transparent use of financial resources, maintain a sustainable cash flow, and deliver accurate reporting.\nJob Description:\nManage projects and coordinate project team members\n\nMonitor and manage project risks\n\nOversee the achievement of project goals\n\nDefine and control project budgets\n\nMonitor project budget spending and ensure it aligns with the approved financial plan\n\nPlan the schedule and process for submitting payment requests\n\nPrepare and compile payment requests, including all required attachments\n\nDraft monitoring reports and financial overviews\n\nVerify the eligibility of expenditures in line with the rules of the Slovakia Programme and EU legislation\n\nCollaborate closely with the accounting department, project team, and project partners\n\nPrepare documentation for audits and inspections\n\nMaintain records and archive project documentation according to the provider’s requirements\n\nBenefits\nBesides the possibility of working in this very unique environment, we offer a 3rd pillar contribution, free Gym on the premises, Multisport card, lots of interesting internal seminars from our science teams and even more fun during our Institute´s festivities.\nPersonality requirements\nSkills:\nRelevant experience and knowledge in project and financial management, with the ability to learn quickly\n\nThe ability to communicate with external partners (consortium members, clients, state and public institutions, suppliers)\n\nThe ability to critically analyze challenges and propose improvements\n\nExperience and ability to coordinate multiple projects at once\n\nHigh personal responsibility, goal-oriented, assertive\n\nConceptual and analytical thinking\n\nFlexibility, responsibility, and a high level of commitment\n\nRequirements:\n2nd level university degree (economics or finance is preferred)\n\nExperience in financial management\n\nAt least 5 years of experience in strategic project management\n\nPrevious experience with grant schemes and EU projects, familiarity with Slovakia Programme (ESIF) is highly preferred\n\nProficient in English\n\nAdvanced practical skills in office software (G-Suite or MS Office)\n\nInformation about selection process\nShould you be interested in applying for our job opening, please send us your CV.
