For more than 25 years, we have been designing, developing, integrating and supporting complex audiovisual solutions and businesses rely on us to deliver consistently secure and flexible meeting experiences.\nWe have an exciting new client; a company that is globally renowned operating within the financial services industry and they are now looking to recruit a proven AV Technician onto their impressive site in Canary Wharf to provide dedicated support services to the AV technology estate.\nThe team proactively maintain and monitor AV (from meeting rooms, digital signage, specialist spaces) to minimise downtime and ensure excellent customer service & experience and undertake functionality tests of high-priority spaces, and ad-hoc and pro-active AV maintenance, technical problem solving, support and occasional small upgrade installation work.\nKey responsibilities:\nPerform daily checks of critical digital signage, including the external ticker, reception LED wall, internal display areas, and booth signage where applicable\n\nFault finding audio visual and video conferencing systems to a high level, under pressure\n\nWork collaboratively on troubleshooting and fault fixing\n\nMaintaining site surveys and asset registers\n\nRunning AV events, including pre-event testing of audio, wireless microphone battery levels, PA, projector/display, conferencing, and post-event reset support etc.\n\nBe the primary contact for event coordination\n\nLiaise with client for large events to understand their requirements\n\nAttend pre-production meetings required for any scheduled special events\n\nPrimary support to operate global production events\n\nOwn the event experiences for the meeting host and attendees\n\nAssist in the management of high-profile events and become a trusted advisor\n\nEscalate any operational issues to the appropriate level of support and make suggestions for improvements\n\nProduce event reports which highlight the use of space\n\nSkills and experience:\nKnowledge of collaboration platforms such as Polycom, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google\n\nAbility to operate Videoconference hardware (Microsoft Teams, Webex, Poly, Logi etc) and to troubleshoot any potential issues relating to audio feedback, no video etc.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Teams, UC PCs, Polycom, Logitech, and Crestron\n\nFlex VC solutions, Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS, and Extron\n\nExperience in supporting IPTV\n\nExperienced delivering support services to large corporate customers\n\nExcellent people skills with the ability to impart knowledge to those less skilled\n\nExpected to complete security screening (BPSS & SC) which will be subject to employment\n\nIf you are selected for interview, and need any reasonable adjustments made for your interview, please let the Talent Acquisition team know, at the point of scheduling.\nIf you do require details of the vacancy or the application process in an alternative format, please email  outlining your requirements.\nEqual Opportunities:\nKinly is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, age, gender identity, pregnancy, colour, race, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, religion or any other ‘protected characteristics.
