For more than 25 years, we have been designing, developing, integrating and supporting complex audiovisual solutions and businesses rely on us to deliver consistently secure and flexible meeting experiences.\nAs we continue to grow and expand, we now have an opportunity for a proven Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Specialist to join our highly talented and collaborative IT team, to help modernise, automate and secure our global hybrid IT environment.\nYou will combine cloud engineering with strong platform and systems knowledge, turning technical standards and roadmaps into reliable day-to-day business and will design, implement, maintain and continuously improve cloud and infrastructure platforms, with Microsoft Azure as a key strategic platform.\nYou will work across cloud, virtualisation, storage, Windows Server, identity, automation and hybrid infrastructure and will also support the ongoing integration of Kinly by helping to align platforms, standards and operational practices across the combined organisation.\nThis is a specialist role for someone who enjoys both project delivery and operational ownership and you will work closely with cloud, network, security and service teams, contribute to technical roadmaps, resolve complex issues and help reduce manual work through standardisation and automation.\nWe are looking for someone to be based either in the UK (able to work from our London or Sunbury-on-Thames office) or in the Netherlands, from our Breda (North Brabant) office. Minimum requirement would be one day per week in the office.\nKey responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, operate and improve cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms, primarily within Microsoft Azure.\n\nManage and optimise core platform services including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, virtualisation, storage and related infrastructure components.\n\nContribute to cloud adoption, platform modernisation and migration strategies, roadmaps and delivery projects.\n\nBuild and maintain reusable automation using PowerShell, Bicep, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps.\n\nEnsure the availability, performance, scalability, resilience and security of critical infrastructure services.\n\nImplement infrastructure security controls in close cooperation with the Security team, following least-privilege and compliance principles.\n\nMonitor platform health, identify trends and proactively prevent incidents, recurring problems and capacity constraints.\n\nTroubleshoot complex issues across cloud and on-premises environments and coordinate resolution with internal teams and technology partners.\n\nSupport backup, recovery, patching, lifecycle management and disaster recovery activities for infrastructure platforms.\n\nDocument architecture, configurations, operational procedures and technical standards.\n\nSkills and experience:\nProven and relevant experience in cloud, systems or infrastructure engineering, including solid background working with public cloud platforms.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments.\n\nSolid knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.\n\nExperience with virtualisation and storage technologies such as Nutanix, VMware or equivalent enterprise platforms.\n\nPractical experience with PowerShell and infrastructure automation; experience with Infrastructure as Code, Python, CI/CD and Azure DevOps is strongly preferred.\n\nKnowledge of backup, recovery, monitoring, patching and infrastructure lifecycle management.\n\nUnderstanding of cloud and infrastructure security, identity and access controls, and secure configuration practices.\n\nWorking knowledge of Linux, containers and Docker is advantageous.\n\nSolid understanding of WAN, LAN and WLAN technologies and how infrastructure platforms depend on network services, e.g. SD-Wan/Azure.\n\nRelevant Microsoft Azure or infrastructure certifications are desirable, or a willingness to obtain them, e.g. AZ104 or AZ305\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and service-oriented approach.\n\nFluent English is required; Dutch is an advantage.\n\nWillingness to participate in standby arrangements, work outside regular hours when necessary and travel internationally on occasion.\n\nIf you are selected for interview, and need any reasonable adjustments made for your interview, please let the Talent Acquisition team know, at the point of scheduling.\nIf you do require details of the vacancy or the application process in an alternative format, please either email  outlining your requirements.\nEqual Opportunities:\nKinly is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, age, gender identity, pregnancy, colour, race, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, religion or any other ‘protected characteristics.
