For more than 25 years, we have been designing, developing, integrating and supporting complex audiovisual solutions and businesses rely on us to deliver consistently secure and flexible meeting experiences.\nWe have a new opportunity for an AV Technician to join our highly collaborative judicial sector team to deliver and install AV requirements into Law Courts around England and Wales on a day-to-day basis.\nThis role will require extended hours and a willingness to travel and the ideal candidate will need to be smart, well-presented and extremely helpful as the role will be very client facing.\nThe role will also involve heavy lifting, the movement of large items and the person must be willing to attain Security Clearance if not already held.\nKey responsibilities:\nPreparing and maintaining Audio Visual equipment\n\nElectrical Safety (PAT) testing of all Hire electrical equipment\n\nTesting and upkeep of current stock\n\nAssisting with maintaining an up-to-date record of all Sunbury based Kinly hire equipment on the internal asset management system\n\nMaintaining consumable stock levels for Government hire\n\nSecurely wiping all Government Hire PCs of sensitive data on return from site and ensuring they are updated with relevant software and security patches\n\nDelivery and collection of equipment to client venues, primarily Crown Courts\n\nInstalling, de-rigging AV requirements to enable presentation of evidence in Law Courts\n\nWorking with Clients to ensure they receive excellent service\n\nLiaising with Clients and the office to ensure smooth running of the events\n\nProviding cover for on-site Government Hire installation engineers\n\nSkills and experience:\nTechnical knowledge of short-term AV solutions, including: Video set up/control, Audio set up/control & Wired and Wireless signal distribution\n\nBasic knowledge of video and audio production and postproduction\n\nLogical troubleshooting thought process\n\nKnowledge of IT, including Microsoft Office and both Apple and Microsoft operating systems\n\nExperience of working in a warehouse environment\n\nGood awareness of Health and Safety and safe working practices\n\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\n\nThe confidence to work under pressure in a professional environment\n\nA UK driving license is essential as is national travel\n\nFlexibility as overtime will be involved, including some weekends, evenings and overnight stays required\n\nComfortable going through the Security Clearance vetting (organised by Kinly).\n\nIf you are selected for interview, and need any reasonable adjustments made for your interview, please let the Talent Acquisition team know, at the point of scheduling.\nIf you do require details of the vacancy or the application process in an alternative format, please email  outlining your requirements.\nEqual Opportunities:\nKinly is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, age, gender identity, pregnancy, colour, race, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, religion or any other ‘protected characteristics.
