For more than 25 years, we have been designing, developing, integrating and supporting complex audiovisual solutions and businesses rely on us to deliver consistently secure and flexible meeting experiences.\nDue to an exciting new client win, we now have an opportunity for a proven Technical Event Manager to join us on site at this well-recognised company headquarters, based in the Moorgate/Bank region of London.\nWorking as the key Technical Event Manager your prime focus will be managing all technical elements for their Conferences and Events.\nKey responsibilities:\nLiaise with client’s Conference & Events Team and a small group of internal VIP clients to determine business requirements and deliver timely and cost-effective technical solutions for virtual and hybrid events\n\nWorking with internal and external production teams to plan and execute technical requirements for conferences and roadshow events\n\nWork alongside partner virtual event platform providers (project managers and engineers)\n\nOccasional event moderator duties\n\nInternal reporting up to management\n\nAttend pre-production meetings\n\nArrange technical tests and speaker training with internal and external clients; this will include VIP public speakers, Blue-chip company CEOs, as well as senior comms and marketing staff\n\nCoordinate pre-call checks and show call for multi-day conferences\n\nOversee internal and outsourced technicians, including shift scheduling\n\nSkills and experience:\nExperience working with complex virtual event platforms\n\nExperience with Ross Video products would be advantageous\n\nUnderstanding technical capabilities and best practices to deliver seamless hybrid events\n\nProven experience in audio, video, staging or related field\n\nExperience working directly with Board level clients\n\nBasic understanding of Project Management skills in an Event environment\n\nExcellent multi-tasking with a strong eye for detail\n\nDemonstrated technical proficiency\n\nFamiliar with auditorium systems, record and playback equipment, camera setups, video recording and stage lighting, P/A systems, microphones, audio mixers and amplifiers and associated screens, speakers and sets, video switchers, routing equipment and audio mixing equipment\n\nFamiliarity with PC, LAN, streaming audio/video and telecommunications operations and terminology\n\nKnowledge of virtual meeting rooms is essential\n\nWorking knowledge of Videoconferencing technology (hardware and protocols)\n\nHigh energy level; ability to work in a fast-paced environment\n\nIf you are selected for interview, and need any reasonable adjustments made for your interview, please let the Talent Acquisition team know, at the point of scheduling.\nIf you do require details of the vacancy or the application process in an alternative format, please email  outlining your requirements.\nEqual Opportunities:\nKinly is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, age, gender identity, pregnancy, colour, race, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, religion or any other ‘protected characteristics.
